On the 21st May, 2010, Carra NS raised their first green flag for Litter! We had the privilege of having An Taoiseach, Mr. Brian Cowen at our flag raising ceremony! It was a momentous day for the school, with the local community, parents, councillors, TD’s and clergy in attendance. The sun shone on the day and everyone was in high spirits. The children still talk about the day that An Taoiseach came to our school.
