Carra National School is located in the parish of Kilgarvin (Bonniconlon) and is in the Dioceses of Achonry. It lies three miles north of Bonniconlon villge and five miles north west of Ballina. To the east lie the Ox Mountains and the west the River Moy estuary. We are fortunate to be located in the scenic district, surrounded by a varitety of habitates; farmland forest, lakes, rivers, streams, bogland and seashore. These provide an excellent resource for study purposes.
