Carra NS are very fortunate to have a Parents’ Association who are always on hand to help the school out in any way they can from fundraising activities, to cleaning and assisting with sports day, open days and school activities.

HONDA 50 RUN – JUNE 2013
Our school has had many successful and enjoyable fundraising events such as Table Quizzes, A Monster Draw, Bag packing and even had Jimmy Buckley playing in the Diamond Coast in aid of Carra National School a few years ago. One of the most recent very successful fundraisers was the “Honda 50 Run” in June, 2013 which proved to be alot of fun and was attended by local people and people as far as Cork. There was great excitement around Carra NS as everyone assembled to get ready for take off.
It is hoped to have another one in June 2014 – more details at a later date.
